Good morning!
 
It's Thursday morning and what a day I had
yesterday here in Vegas! The flight was very
relaxing (5 hours!) - I spent a lot of time mapping
out the next few days of work and writing
my talk for this weekend.  I should have
remembered, though....the walking involved!
(call that foreshadowing)
 
Got to the hotel and
checked in early; the only room available was
out in Kansas (at least it seemed that way  :)  ).
Signed in, did some work, had a fun time with
Connie Ragen Green shopping for provisions,
returned to my hotel room and realized....
 
My ankle just can't take that walk.  :(  So!  Moved
my room and called it a night.   Dennis' plane
got super-delayed as well; he arrived 12:30am
Vegas time instead of the anticipated 5pm or so.
Poor man!  So we're all going to see one another
today.  Yay!
 
Had a heck of a time with my youngest at
night, however.  At times, he views that nobody
understands him; thing is, sometimes his actions
cause lots of the misunderstandings.  Yay.  Not.
Teaching is characterbuilding but he will eventually
get it, I have spoken.    :)
 
In other words, today will be spent networking
with Dennis and Jason and Connie and Ben
and everyone else, can't wait!  What about you?
