As you can tell, today has NOT been a good
day. Actually, today has been a stark raving madly
miserable day but hey.... I'm still breathing, my
family is doing great and well yep. Life is what
you choose to make of it.
'Course, I *did* work from 3am until 6am until
disaster struck so some goodness was accomplished.
It's now 1:50pm (lookie at that - I'm, what, 7 hours
late?) and hopefully I can begin the day.
Hope your day is 'way better!

It's Wednesday morning, well, okay, it's not.
It's late morning. I woke up this morning
to this lovely message from Honorable Son 1:
"Mom, i literally feel like crap. I'm tired, i have asthma and a headache. I'm leaving the chores to tomorrow. I think if I did the in this condition they wouldn't be done well. You can prevent me from cooking for a few days if you want. Sorry."
Basically, HS1 decided he simply HAD to cook (like
other people HAVE to breathe) and then it overwhelmed
him. He got up this morning and realized he had neglected
part of his homework as well.
And then, of course, because I mean, why not,
he decided to panic in a way worthy of a racehorse
trapped in a burning barn.
And how was your day? :) I basically chose to
let him go thru this panic *now* ('way better than
when he applies to High Tech High!) but yep -
lots of "How can you schedule yourself out so
you not only meet your deliverables but also
have time for your hobbies too?"
Parenting. It's a MamaBear day indeed.
In other news, I haven't recovered from my Monday's
workout, so I simply did 50 pushups and only 25
pounds in the arm curling The future is always
in motion, I believe....so every little step forward
is a great thing indeed. I'll keep you posted!
