It's Monday morning and my gosh what a wild ride.  First though:

 
So where was I?

Ah yes.

So.  Yesterday I visited my dad's home for the last time.  Packed the husband/kids into the moosemobile and brought back the computer lab my husband had built for him.

My childhood is officially over.... my siblings and I are the oldest in our ancestry tree.  Feels very weird, that.  Came home and instead of going to the movies (my first plan).... decided that I would simply stay home and decompress.  The night was hugely weird.... tons of nervous energy and stuff.  But... eventually got to bed... 

And woke up to Deal of the Day today regarding my latest, Amazon Prime Day Cheatsheet!

Sunday morning.  Today will be my last visit to my dad's house and basically the day I say goodbye.  Don't quite know how I feel about that but life....

That has to be one of the most profound quotes I have ever said.  Sigh.

'sides that, things in LingLand are going well - Honorable Daughter II finished her 2nd week in pre-college and is doing great!  Oh, and that reminds me....

Yesterday, my youngest got very unhappy with bowling and wanted to just stop.

My initial reaction would have been, ?, except...

He then told me, Mom, losing is hurting my self-esteem.

My next reaction would have been, ?, except....

He is *aware* of how he is processing his emotions.....

And *that* is hugely cool.

So I debriefed with him about it yesterday and it turned out to be quite the learning experience.
