Ever have one of those days where your focus bounces all over the place.... and yet you can still get things

That was me yesterday. For some reason, I just work *better* when I can pick and choose what to work on - get bored, and then move to the other thingee in parallel. By the end of the day... stuff does get done and life is good.
Elsewhere in Lingland, dentist time today! Wheeee! Also I need to take the kids Halloween shopping too. So waiting for them to outgrow that.... ('course, it comes back in full force in college! Fun times those. :) )
Plus... woke up with zero desire to move. Really low energy. Got my blue fluffy housecoat
and after I do my usual gym... going to be a quiet steady day.

Don't forget yesterdays:
Where was I? Ah yes, Monday!
Fired up I am to get things done. First off, I've been taking care of computer admin tasks.... and slowly but
surely getting things far more optimal.
Sunday was all in all very relaxing - took family out and gave myself permission yesterday to just NOT do any work except for chatting and resting. 'twas Grand!!
And I discovered that no matter WHAT FB
group you're in... drama will ensue! A 20K Polyglot group (people who like multiple languages) lost their admin yesterday because of the twitness of some folk in said group.
Here's my response:
"It was my privilege to meet (person) for the
first time at the Polyglot conference last week. She is a wealth of knowledge and language love; it is sad she chose to step down. Understandable but sad.
Running a FB group is an extremely thankless, unpaid, often trying activity. Admins are not paid for their time and in far too many cases, not appreciated for the immense effort they expend in assuring a smooth ride for the vast
majority of group members.
I view a FB group to be an extension of an admin's home. They are the hosts; they welcome you into their home and encourage a sharing of the topic at hand. But when things get out of hand, they have every right to restore order as they see fit. If that means banning folk, so be it.
Group members are NOT privy to whatever drama might go on behind the scenes. They are NOT privy to the private PMs some members might use to attack other members. Only the admin sees the full picture... as it should be.
