Where was I? Ah yes, Sunday! Well. Spent the vast majority of yesterday patiently fixing my hosed server. There were more than 20K php files I needed to update - wheeee!
Your takeaway should be: if you have more than one important domain on your server, make sure to have individual users for each domain. That way, if one site is compromised, the others ideally will not be.
I'm still years away to getting things back to normal but hey....
These things happen. I used the opportunity to model calmness to my kids because after all... panicking doesn't do

Don't forget
yesterdays:
Server was hacked and I am earlobe deep into patching stuff up. The good news about this was I was able to model calmness and peace to the kids - this is an utter disaster (it really is) however, railing and panicking doesn't do anything whatsoever.
So the kids asked me, are you sure you're okay Mom?
And my response was, things could be better but you know.... life happens. And we can either run from it or deal with it.
I'm dealing with it. :)
