Yesterday was actually rather good. Took my youngest to see Kung Fu Panda 3 - what a great feel-good movie that is!
And another kid is now getting into robotics and the competition is in a
few weeks... that should be interesting to see how it goes as well.

Nonstop kid day yesterday. It closed with me taking my youngest swimming (yay, 20 minutes aquajogging for me!) and when I got home, I told him, Mom's now officially off-duty (this was, hmmm, 4:30pm?), went into the house to discover another
kid had a challenging time at an extracurricular activity.... so bundled that kid into the moosemobile and let said kid get a Starbucks coffee.
And we talked. And talked. And I will admit - sometimes I don't "get" my kids - they are so superior to the way I was at that age, why don't they realize it?
Parenting. It's a hero's journey.

Where was I? Oh yes, Saturday!
Not only did I get to the pool again, but a miracle happened... I got to the real gym! 29 days since my tummy tuck and yep... was able to do 5! whole! minutes! of arm curls. FELT SO GOOD!
Afternoon was a bit more character-building. My youngest walked to the park and came across a
dying birdies by the road. :( He brought it to the side, tried to give it water, and it died in his hands. Lots of talking thru on that but it ended okay.
And about lying - I earlier had an instance where while the *intention* might not have been, let's fool Barbara, the end result was. Of course I picked it up (being an online marketer for close to
20 years makes it impossible NOT to pick that up).
Lesson? Never lie to me. I will find out. I hope you share the same sentiment!
